User specific Gravatars have now been implemented into The Expat Directort.
Gravatars are global avatars that are matched to your specific email address. This means that once you have set up your avatar in Gravatar it will appear in all websites and socail networking sites that support the Gravatar feature. Expatriate Site Statistics
The Expat Directory is proud to announce the release of Expatriate Site statistics.
Users who register their expat blogs, expat websites, expat service websites et al can now access a statistical overview of the number of users who view their site from The Expat Directory. Specific site statistics are available via user admin panels.
This is a free service available to all members of The Expat Directory.

How to use The Expat Directory Blog
The Expat Directory blog has been established on blogger to allow general discussions about The Expat Directory Website.
The Expat Directory is an online portal for expatriates across the globe and has been operating since mid 2004.
2009 was a big year for The Expat Directory with a full redesign and change of focus. This change was driven by the feedback we recieved from our users and information gathered during the first few years.
The site is now a fully interactive portal with facilities that are unique and provide something for everyone.
For those who just want to promote their expat blogs, you can list your site and track how many clicks you receive each day, month and year. You can also add voting buttons to your site and allow your users to vote for you.
For those who wish to share, we have an expat articles section which enables individual expatriates and expatriate companies to share their experiences.
For those who love to capture the moment, we have a dedicated expatriate gallery which can be fully customised to suit your needs.
For those seeking information, we have dedicated expat forums, expat questionnaires and an information portal for each country [full release in 2010].
The site is continually improved and resources are custom built based on the feedback we recieve.
Whilst the site contains its own feedback system, we have decided to maintain a blog on blogger for those who prefer the blogger fora.
